Adoption

Have you seen a cat you'd like to meet? Apply directly from the cat's page, message us on Facebook or by email, or drop by during opening hours. Please tell us:

• Which cat you're interested in
• What your home is like
• Other animals
• Children
• Indoor or outdoor cat
• Experience with cats

Don't see a match? Tell us what kind of cat you're looking for. We often have cats that aren't listed yet, for example while they wait for their last vaccine.

All adult cats are

• Vaccinated
• Microchipped
• Neutered
• Dewormed
• Health checked

Kittens under 7 months are rehomed unneutered, and the new owner signs a contract to neuter at 6 months or 2 kg. The microchip is transferred once we receive confirmation of neutering.

A pet and a family member

All cats are adopted as pets. They must be part of the family and treated humanely, with enough food, fresh water, warmth and gentle handling. We don't rehome to people looking for a barn cat.

We can't give guarantees about an animal's appearance, temperament or mental state. If the cat has to be returned, the adoption fee is not refunded — it goes towards helping other animals in need.

If you ever need to rehome the cat again, we'd prefer it to happen through us so we can follow "our" cats through life.

Trial period

We offer a trial period for households with other animals or children. Usually 14 days is enough; we don't want cats away much longer, as returning after a long stay is hard on them.

We sign a contract on adoption, and payment is preferably by Vipps.
